Daniel Priebe is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt under Professor Carlos Eduardo de Araujo Farias, 3rd Degree Black Belt. Daniel started his grappling career as freshmen in high school wrestling under coaches Ernie Molina & Sammy Chagolla who were both 4x state wrestling champions, 4x All Americans, and Sammy an Olympic Alternate. Daniel was part of a 4x State Championship Team, and was Captain his senior year. His overall high school record was 134 wins and 9 losses, earning 3 straight Regional Championships, and 3rd place in State Championship 5A division. Daniel went on to wrestle for Arizona State University from 2000-2001 under 2x Olympic Gold Medalist Leroy Smith. From 2003-2007 Daniel shared his knowledge as assistant coach for North West Christian High School in Phoenix, AZ. In 2008 he found the love and passion for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and his grappling experience helped him to quickly excel through the ranks, and prove his skill-set through winning multiple international competitions. Daniel Has also trained in several other arts such as Taekwondo, Muay Thai, and Judo. Daniel has a passion for sharing his knowledge with others as well as competing and continuing his personal growth.

Cruz Bryan first experienced grappling while wrestling in high school and began his Jiu Jitsu journey in early 2009 when he attended a level one Modern Army Combatives instructor course during basic training in Ft. Benning, Georgia. Immediately he found a passion for this fun and unique martial art. In 2010, he became acquainted with brown belt Dave Hagen in Salem, Oregon. Under the tutelage of Hagen he would achieve the rank of purple belt, place top three in multiple subleague tournaments in the beginner, intermediate and purple belt divisions and would complete the level two MACP instructor certification. During this time, he also ventured into the world of MMA through Team Chaos resulting in a 2-2 record with two first round submission wins. In the spring of 2015, Cruz began training at the Oregon Pound under black belt Mike Downing in Corvallis, Oregon where he would hone a simple, aggressive and highly effective personal style. After moving back to Salem in the fall of 2015 he started training under black belt Daniel Priebe and found his skills improving rapidly, ultimately leading to a 1st place finish at the 2016 Ground Warrior tournament. Cruz earned his purple belt under black belt Professor Daniel Priebe. He combines a broad range of competitive experience with an education in psychology to provide detailed instruction tailored to the individual student. He believes that everyone can find success with Jiu Jitsu through dedication and patience.
Mike Fleming holds a black belt in both American Karate and Isshinryu as well as a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Mr. Fleming has 16 years of law enforcement experience and was a member of the Special Response Team as well as a Defensive Tactics Instructor. He is also an instructor for HSS International.
Mr. Fleming leads the striking program at DP-BJJ. His classes are held Tuesday and Thursday from 6pm – 7:30pm
